Privacy Statement

The Internet is a really neat way to communicate because it allows you to reach people and companies around the world without having to actually travel anywhere to do it! However, just as we have to be careful in the real world, we need to be aware when on the Internet.

You need to think about who you give information to over the Internet just like you do in person. Your parents have probably told you, Don’t talk to strangers! You wouldn’t walk up to a stranger in the park and give them your name, address, e-mail address, and phone number. The same rule applies on the Internet.

The US government has passed new laws requiring websites to handle information about kids very carefully. If you are under 13, your parents have to give a website written permission before the site can collect information about you. If you are on a website that you want to give information to, talk to your parents about it first.

Planet Orange does not collect any information from kids anywhere on this site.

Check out this link for more tips on protecting information about you on the Internet: Kidz Privacy.

Additionally, if you or your parents want to read ING DIRECT’s privacy policy, which tells you how ING DIRECT protects your privacy by not sharing your information with anyone else, please visit our website at ingdirect.com.
Thanks!
