Quality Check Point
Too big, too small, and just right…

Before you run off and start walking a thousand dogs at once, make sure you’re prepared. Here are a few things you should consider before you take on more than you can handle:

Your time. Juggling your time can sometimes be harder than juggling oranges. Before you jump into a work schedule, you’ll have to figure out not only how much free time you have, but also how much time you’ll need to finish the job.

Equipment. Obviously, if you don’t have a shovel you can’t really move sand with a spoon. Some work requires certain kinds of equipment. Depending on who your employer is, you may have to provide that equipment yourself, or it might be provided for you, the employee.

Your limits. In theory, you might be able to walk two dogs while you’re shoveling sand and tossing newspapers left and right. But in practice, it’s probably a bad idea. Remember that you’re not working just to earn as much money as you can and stress yourself out. You’re working so that you’ll have enough money to have fun.
